Week 11: Social Networks

People are meeting on the web. They are sharing their interests, events and opinions.  That’s what social networks are all about.  The library will be putting a presence on Facebook sometime soon as an effort to reach out to teens and young adults. So let’s start with Facebook.

Lesson 1    Facebook

Lesson 2    MySpace

Lesson 3    43 Things, Places and People

Here is a the document with the links from the staff meeting presentation.  Go Go Web 2.0

As always please ask Sue or Vicky for help if you are stuck on anything. Or tap into the knowledge of your fellow learners and ask someone who’s already finished the lesson.
